NSA has been around since...lessee....1998 in earth years (it so old O_O) and year 1 in NSA (because thats when NSA was started duhhhhhh). In it so far there have been three to four ages, depending on who you talk to. Let's take a tour into these ages....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The IA Age was from 1998-2006, The Building Age was from 2006-2017

The Early Ages (this is the age that NSA scholars are divided on): 1998-2006, Not much is known about it, even the names of the students have disappeared.

The only two things known about the Early ages is the thread called called The Spartans (a predecessor to NaAT), and IA, or Interest Area, a platform used from 1998 to around 2006

In NSA time the Early ages are from 1-32

The Dark Age was in 2016

The Golden Age: This is more well known, with Famous names such as Joshua Story, Cece, Cody Johnson, Samantha Aquino and the rise of NaAT, and its fall, this age was from 2017-2019. This age was also split by a dark age, and had two wars, the Organization War (which ended Organized war for over 2-5 school years), and Bunny Chipmunk War. The role playing thread Mages Guild rose and fell in this period also.

In NSA time the golden age was 33-76. This time was the metal age, with castles and medieval structures.

The Silver Age: 2019-2021: this age was signaled by the change from FirstClass to Microsoft Teams, and the fall of NaAT and the Mages Guild. The famous names here are Gabe Nelson, Keenan Watt, Brooke Foster, Cole Stanely, and Anna Barry. The organizations that stood out were the NSALegion or NSALA (which was the NSA Mafia/NSA Meanies in the Great HS war), FFAE, the FED, and BRoBC. This age also has the rise of war chats once again in the Rise of the war chats war. This also led to a split of Role play and war chats from the same chat. This age also saw FFAE beat NaAT in messages (~250,000 messages to NaAT's 14,000), people (with over 27 at one point), messages sent in a hour (over 200-400), day, and week (2000-3000), and crossover role plays such as BRoBC, ApoL and Paranormal Investigators. The Age of Conflict saw five wars happen, The Communist Revolution, The Great HS war, The League War, the short-lived FEDeration period, and then the Downfall of FED war, and the Secret War. Often called the Old teams era. This was 77- 96 NSA time. This age was also NSAs space age, with many rp and chats going after space and sci-fi themes.

The Age of the Teams Old Guard: 2019-2021. Some of the names during this era: Esther Noeth, Micah Phillips, Anna Barry, Elsa Powers, Tirzah Hopkins, Saron M, Cole Stanley, Emma Hedlund, Ruthie Overholt, Meredith Schmidt, Jared Cheaz, Ethan Guynn, Chana Noeth, Natalee Crane, Gabe Nelson, Meredith Johnson, Spencer S, Shawn David-Logan, Annalise Gringes, Anna (Faith) Rodgers, Thien-An (Evelyn) Nguyen, Jonathan Cooke, and many more.

The Deactivation era (The Teams Dark age): 2021- 2023. Marked by the transition from the freer old teams to a more compact New teams. Early in this era, not many people were active, and the so-called “Old Guard” (Students that had been in FC, or joined just when Old Teams Started), were either graduating, un-active, or left due to changing schools. This age was also marked by many middle schoolers finding out more about NSA Lore, and rising interest in NaAT lore. NANC was formed to campaign for a new role playing age following NaAT’s formula. They also reformed NSA magic into a broader magic area. It then later failed in late 2023.

The Revival Era 2023 - present. Capitalized by expanding interests in NSA culture and the movement into a new student council. It was the age when the Second Communist Revolution run by Elijah Smith, Hudson Brott, and Ernest Paul fought against Gabe Nelson, Hallie Griffin, Cora Metzger, Silas Miller, and the Royalists. Popular names in this age were Hallie Griffin, Cora Metzger, Blake Crosby, Owen Brehens, Anna and Sarah Haagenson, Jared Lemmon (totally Lemon), Silas Miller, Noah Pendley, Satomi Mills, ........
