Why can't other users see my edits?

Because of vandalism of the wiki, a system has been implemented that sends all edits to moderators to be approved before they get posted. All edits are generally reviewed within 48 hours, so please be patient! If your edit is very urgent for some reason, you can message Owen B, Gabe N, or Noah P. to get it approved.

How do I create a new page?

What's the difference between a user page and a page about a person?

This question hasn't ever actually been asked, but I figured I would answer it anyway. When you create an account on the wiki, a user page associated with your username can also be created. (You can access this by clicking on your username in the topmost right section of the website.) Pages can also be created with a name as a title, and put in the category.

So, here's the difference between these two page types. A user page (aka, the page with your username as the title, automatically created with your account) can have whatever you want on it. You can put pretty much anything on your own user page - stuff about you, whether it relates to NSA or not. It's highly discouraged to edit other users' user pages, and there's almost no reason to ever do so. However, a pages about people (aka, the person's name as the title, and in the People category) are treated much differently. These pages should only have information about the person that concerns something at NSA, and they should be written to the standard of other wiki pages. For example, if you had a role in a group chat, you could say so, and link to that page. Also, since these pages are treated like any other wiki pages, it's normal for other users to edit them.

So, in summary, a user page is like a profile. You can put basically anything you want there. However, a page about a person at NSA is an informational article, and will be written as such.

More questions will be added as I think of them. If you have an idea of something you think should be here, please post about it in this page's discussion.
